Keynote speaker Dr. Slavko Kralj

Dr. Slavko Kralj is scientific associate at the Department for Materials Synthesis (Jožef Stefan Institute – JSI) and assistant professor at Faculty of Pharmacy (University of Ljubljana). He has been involved in the syntheses and functionalization of magnetic nanoparticles for more than 15 years. He regularly publishes in high-impact journals such as ACS Nano, Angewandte Chemie, ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, Nano Research, Nanoscale, Chemical Communication, Nanotoxicology, Cancers, etc. He has co-authored 60 papers in journals indexed by SCI and his H-index is 23 (g scholar). He has led several domestic and international projects at JSI with overall budget of over 1.4 mio EUR. Dr. Kralj is also the co-founder of a nanotechnology spin-out company (Nanos SCI) which sells customized solutions on magnetic nanoparticles worldwide.
